Jitendra Kumar, Station House Officer of Kesrisinghpur police station, said the person was trying to enter illegally through the wired fence on the border when he was spotted by the BSF personnel. “They asked himtogoawaybutwhenhepersisted, he was shot dead by the BSF personnel,” the SHO said.
