The alleged encounter took place when the Local Crime Branch (LCB) personnelof theGandhinagarPolice were conducting a crime scene reconstruction, police said. An LCB constable, Rajendrasinh, was injured in the encounter. He underwent a surgery at Apollo Hospital and remains under treatment.
