Anine-year-longrandomised control trial, conducted on more than 1,100 patients from 10 private and public hospitals, demonstrated the model’s efficiencyaspatientswereabletoreducetheirdiabetes-relatedcomplications when they followed the protocol it recommended. “The study was conducted in low and middle-income countriesincludingIndiaandPakistan.
