On August 16, Gehlot had allowed the complainants to file cases in court seeking a probe againstSiddaramaiahoveralleged irregularities in allotment of 14 housingsitesbytheMysoreUrban Development Authority (MUDA) to his wife in 2021 (when the BJP wasinpower)inexchangefor3.16 acresoflandacquiredfromherby Mysuru authorities.
