Thedigitalarchivewillgolive on November 14 next year, and will include all of Nehru’s speeches and conversations cu- rated from archives and resourceswithinIndiaandabroad, said Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, among the trustees of the JNMF which is headed by party leader Sonia Gandhi. Ramesh said the archive would make user material on Nehru, which one can search, cross reference and download, easily available. The idea is to make it the “final authoritative and authenticated resource” on Nehru, said sources. To be modelled on the lines of the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory(Johannesburg)andthe Churchill Archive in the UK, the multimediaarchivewillbeavail- able on nehruarchive.in.
